Talents First shares its experience with PhD students.
On 27 April, our Associate Director Francine JEANbLANC and our project consultant Renaud Dumontier participated in a workshop organized by C-H.AIR and HEL4CHIROLED – ITN at the University of Strasbourg. The goal of this event entitled «Pursuing a career in industry» was to offer an overview of the various industrial perspectives to a public of doctoral students, many of whom have the ambition not to pursue an academic career.
Alongside renowned speakers in medical research who came to present their personal experience and professional background, Talents First shared its expertise in terms of recruitment and more specifically regarding the expectations and needs of companies in this sector that ask for our services to find the talents who could help them to achieve their goals.
Among the topics discussed during this event in Strasbourg, the importance of Soft Skills, Power Skills and now Mad Skills in the recruitment or the strength of the professional network LinkedIn for a candidate, in terms of visibility in a job search process.
An event that fits perfectly with Talents First’s desire to share its knowledge and experience as closely as possible with any talents in order to prepare them for the realities of a constantly changing market.
