Our Expertise?

Strategic recruitment consultancy.
Assess your workforce and develop your human resources.

Our vision

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition is not something that can be improvised, even more so as it involves a wide range of specialist sub-disciplines. It requires an in-depth understanding of the labour market, of the positions that need to be filled, of the sectors concerned and above all of each client who calls on the services. Our mission is to understand their challenges and the way they see things.

Moreover, it implies a close working relationship with each company in the various sectors of trade and industry in question, as well as keeping one’s finger on the pulse of the market in a general sense.

Our Profession

Seeking out the very best candidates for executive positions, senior/middle management and specialists, demands a very specific kind of expertise and a hunter’s instinct.

Both locally and globally, we have one aim in mind: to further our clients’ success. In doing so, we draw on our know-how in the areas of executive searches, skills assessments and coaching. Our clients rely on us to recruit only the very best candidates who will deliver genuine added value for their business.

Our senior consultants set out to find high potentials and the best talents in the market… the team who will shape the performance and therefore the future of your company.

Our approach

Our open-minded and proactive approach enables us to advise our candidates on their career development by offering new challenges.

The methods we adopt allow us to assess the full range of candidates’ behaviours, skills, drivers and the values that define the uniqueness of each person.

Working very closely with the candidates approached, we provide them with all the relevant information to enable them to see themselves in the new role and the working environment proposed.

Our key strength and added value: exceeding our clients’ expectations.

solutions

Our consultants come from diverse backgrounds which make them aware of the multicultural aspect.

They have the relevant expertise in a wide range of different sectors of trade and industry. This means our clients benefit from an overall and cross-sectoral view of the various sectors of trade and industry. We present them with the profiles of adaptable candidates who derive from other sectors, which are often more innovative in their practices. This choice is in keeping with one of our core tenets: we are generalists, which enables us to provide our clients with candidates who can bring them genuinely innovative insights.

We encourage our clients to bolster their teams with high potential profiles: extremely well-qualified candidates who possess the right interpersonal skills and soft skills that make all the difference when it comes to leadership.

Through this benchmark, we seek to build synergies in terms of experiences, whereby we contribute to the performance of our clients against the backdrop of a highly competitive recruitment market. Our expertise goes beyond mere recruitment. We also advise our clients on the best ways to manage their human capital.

OUR METHODOLOGY

Talents First stands out from other recruitment companies courtesy of its direct approach expertise.

The recruitment process is based on the tripartite relationship of trust between:

  • The candidates
  • The client
  • And the consultant

The consultant assumes ownership of the project. Further to an analysis and after acquiring a proper understanding of the environment of the company, we guide the client and the candidates all the way up to the point when the assignment is finalised, whilst representing their mutual interests.

The direct approach is a method of identifying and contacting people who are not necessarily seeking to switch jobs but who may potentially be keeping an eye on the market.

As the next step, the interviews we conduct with the candidates allow us to assess the experience, skills and career development plans of the people concerned and above all whether they have any real interest in the role on offer.

To complete the assessment of each candidate, we can use the Harrison Assessments method before putting the full picture together based on the input of the various team members.

This approach goes beyond traditional personality tests as it cross-references the candidates’ behavioural traits with the specific requirements held out for a particular position.

  • Harrison Assessments is a personality questionnaire that seeks to align the behavioural preferences of any given person with the specific expectations for a specific role.
  • The diagrams of the Paradoxes™ enable us to conduct a thorough analysis of the strengths and areas of improvement of each candidate, to enable them to develop their potential and play to their strengths in their current or future role whilst enabling them to derive the utmost pleasure from the job.

This approach is centred around the link between aptitudes/performance and satisfaction/engagement

  • Harrison Assessments is a winning model for the company and the employee alike.
  • The Harrison Assessment seeks to match candidates’ aptitudes and behavioural traits with the requirements of a particular job within the organisation. It is not just the organisation that benefits from employees that perform well. Employees who take pleasure in and derive satisfaction from their day-to-day duties, which also works wonders for their career development prospects.
  • Harrison Assessments are based on the Enjoyment Performance Theory™: when we duly rate most of the duties we perform and the working environment we operate in and when our principal values and our essential needs are by and large respected, we derive pleasure from the work we do. So, we tend to repeat these duties to the point where we get really good at them, which is progress in itself. And in making headway we receive positive feedback. This positive feedback in turn elicits even greater pleasure, thereby creating a virtuous cycle of combined pleasure and performance.

For the companies, these Harrison Assessments enable them to recruit, commit and develop their staff based on their strengths.
